Organ at the Odeon Cinema, Haverstock Hill, Hampstead, London. Interior view. The Haverstock Hill Odeon was designed by T P Bennett & Son and opened on 29 September 1934. Cinema organs were rare by this date, and it was Haverstock Hill's status as a flagship which merited a Compton organ. This example is in the Art Deco style adopted by the Odeon circuit. Photographed in September 1934 by John Maltby.
