Erythema elevatum diutinum is a form of vasculitis where blood vessels are destroyed as a result of inflammation. Coeliac disease is a gastrointestinal autoimmune disorder caused by a reaction to gluten. It typically affects the small intestine and causes chronic diarrhoea, abdominal dissention and malabsorption. However, it has also been linked to skin disorders (as here).
