Breast tumour. Coloured magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans through the breasts of a 32-year-old female patient with a tumour in her right breast. The tumour measures 1.5 x 0.8 cm, and is retro-areolar (located 2.6 cm from the edge of the nipple-areolar complex of the right breast). The top scans are taken from a ventral decubitus position (patient lying on stomach), and the bottom scans are taken from a supine position (person lying face upwards). The MRI scan has been obtained using gadolinium contrast medium.
