Tianjin Raiway Station;(Tianjin Zhan) the principal railway station for Tianjin is one of the iconic buildings of this historic city. Established in 1888; located next to the Haihe River and close to another iconic strcuture; the Jiefang Bridge; it served as an important route between the foreign concessions of Tianjin and the foreign legations in Beijing.The station was rebuilt in 1987-88 and restructured in 2007-8 for the introduction of high-speed trains between Tianjin and Beijing.Across Haihe River from railway station is Jinwan Plaza.
