The symptoms include high temperature, fatigue, depression, red facial rash, skin lesions, breathing difficulties, arrhythmia, heart failure, swelling of the kidneys, sensitivity to the sun, muscle pain and swelling of the joints. There is no cure for LE, but it can be managed with immunosuppressant and anti-inflammatory drugs.
