Caverne du Pont d'Arc, France, a replica of Chauvet Cave. Caverne du Pont d'Arc was built to preserve the cave site for research while allowing tourists to see the prehistoric art without damaging it. Chauvet Cave contains some of the best-preserved Palaeolithic (stone age) figurative cave paintings in the world. These paintings are thought to be around 36,000 years old. The Caverne du Pont-d'Arc opened to the public on 25th April 2015.
