Lunar craters Clavius (centre) and Moretus (top right) photographed from the Cumeada Observatory, Alqueva Dark Sky Reserve, Portugal on 23rd March 2021. Clavius is one of the largest and oldest craters on the Moon formed during the Nectarian period (3920 million years ago to 3850 million years ago). Moretus is a lunar crater near the south pole of the Moon.
