Fay Cluff Brown (1881-1968), US physicist and inventor. Brown's research centred on the electrical properties of the element selenium. As well as research he created and oversaw educational museum exhibits. He was the organizing director of the New York Museum of Science and Industry (part of the Museums of the Peaceful Arts) from 1926 to 1931 and the curator of physics exhibits at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry from 1932 to 1937.
