Although some of her portraits are held by the National Portrait Gallery, she was better known for her streetscapes and interiors. She was a student of Walter Sickert and was his partner in the Westminster Technical Institute. In 1911 she exhibited at the New English Art Club, in 1912 at the Royal Academy, and in 1914 at the London Group.
