In 1842 she won the 2-mile Newcastle Cup by four lengths, and the Doncaster Cup by five lengths. Many of Bee\'s Wing\'s foals went on to become race champions. Bee\'s Wing has been painted in the traditional side-on pose to show her fine racing qualities.
