"He's My Daddy" -- Three-year-old Pauline, fondles the face of her father, Rifleman Fred Reynolds of the Royal Ulster Rifles, after he arrived at Southampton aboard the troopship "Asturias" this morning, September 16th. Rifleman Reynolds comes from 1, Marsland Street, Ardwick, Manchester. Nearly 550 former British prisoners of war from Korea arrived at Southampton today September 16th in the Troopship "Asturias". The "Asturias" docked five minutes late, but within a few minutes the ex-prisoners were marching in Alphabetical order down the gangways into the arms of their relatives. September 16, 1953.
