Queen Talks With Flood Victims At King's Lynn. The Queen talks with Mr. J. Butcher and his wife, Marie, as they mires their children, 16-months-old Jackie and Susan, 2 months, at the Gaywood Park School, King's Lynn, to-day (Monday). The Queen was 'extremely distressed and upset' when, visiting flood devastated areas in Norfolk to-day (Monday), she was told that children had been lost in the disaster. The Queen drove from Sandringham and, with the Dukes of Edinburgh and Gloucester, toured the flood areas, speaking to survivors, rescue and welfare workers. February 2, 1953.
