Jubilant Mistress Greets Australian Terrier Freed From Quarantine - It?s a warm hug and a fond kiss for Judy, white and tan terrier, from her mistress, Australian widow Mrs. Gladys May Curtis, 51, when she arrives at Hackbridge Kennels, Surrey, to take home the dog, quarantined since last spring. Judy had to be restrained by the kennel maid, right, from toppling her mistress ever in her excitement at seeing her again. Last May Mrs. Curtis was fined ?35 for removing Judy from quarantine, During the summer the Australian widow worked a 90-hour week as manageress of an Isle of wight cafe to raise the money for a home for herself and Judy, and after this picture was taken she left with Judy to their semi-detached house in Portsmouth, Hampshire. welcome-home dinner: one mutton chop each.
