Radio Industry Passes Export Target -- The British Radio Industry has decided not to hold a Radio Exhibition this year in order that manufacturers may concentrate upon their export programme which is forging ahead with great success. The export target of ?1m set the industry by Sir Stafford Cripps was passed in December last when equipment to the value of ?1,013,162 was sold a broad. This picture was taken at the huge Electrical and Musical Industries (EMI) factory at Hayes, Middlesex, where much of the export work is carried on.
