Members of the unofficial delegation of Chiefs from Nyasaland gave a press conference at 32 Tavistock Square, London today January 8th. The Chiefs are opposed to the scheme for the federation of Nyasaland, Northern Rhodesia and Southern Rhodesia. Oliver Lyttelton, Colonial Secretary, has agreed to meet the delegation but an appointment has not yet been fixed as the delegation will not be complete until the arrival of two more chiefs in London tomorrow January 9th.
