The Royal Special Licence for the wedding of H.R.H, Princess Elizabeth and Lt. Philip Mountbatten; R.N., on November 20th has been issued from the Faculty Officer of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The lettering on the Licence, which is a piece of vellum 26? inches by 22, is in old engrossing hand done by Mr. Henry J. Fisher, of Kensal Rise; N.W. Appended to the Licence is a large Seal of the Court of Faculties attached by a white satin ribbon. September 23, 1947.
