The two panels show King Edward VIII, the Duke of Kent, the Duke of York and the Duke of Gloucester guarding the bier, and the right-hand plaque shows the Lying-in-State as the public saw it. The Lying-in-State of the late King George V. in St. Stephen's Hall, Westminster, London, has bean executed by Mr. Louis Roslyn, R.B.S. and the sculpture will later be cast in bronze and sold, probably for charity.
