Winner Of Sailing Race From Australia Reaches Thames -- A striking picture looking down on the as members of the crew refed sails on the mainmast. The Finnish barque Pommern, competing in the annual Windjammerrace from Australia, made the voyage from Australia to ***** in 94 days. The Passat also did the voyage of 6,000 miles 94 days but the crew of the Pommern claim to be winner having taken a few hours less.
