From Out Of The Past -- The old Balclutha, la of the square rigged sailing ships that carried wheat and spices around Cape Horn, is moved by tugs under the San Francisco-Oakland Bay bridle its final resting place from an Alameda shipyard where it was refitted. The ancient vessel will be tied to a pier on San Francisco's famed Embassy cadero as public maritime museum. The Baclutha was built in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1886. July 20, 1955.
