Car Crashes On Way - Beaming Happily, Winston Churchill, accompanied by Mrs. Churchill, arrives at Ascot to see his horse Colonist II run in the Ascot Gold Cup on the third day of the Royal Ascot race meeting. On the way to the course Mr. Churchill's car ran into the back of the escorting police car, but there was no serious damage. June 15, 1950.
