A real-life Tatooine, this planet was Kepler's first discovery of a planet that orbits two stars - what is known as a circumbinary planet. The Kepler space telescope is a retired space telescope launched by NASA in 2009. Named after astronomer Johannes Kepler, the spacecraft was launched into an Earth-trailing heliocentric orbit.
