Enhanced colour image of Kodiak mound in Mars' Jezero Crater taken by Perseverance rover's Mastcam-Z imager from a distance of 2.2 kilometres. Kodiak measures 250 metres wide. The image shows ancient layered rocks that have layers of sediment, that could only have been deposited by a river flowing into a lake. Photographed on on the 18th of April 2021.
