It is found in Argentina; Bolivia; Brazil; Colombia; Costa Rica; Ecuador; French Guiana; Guatemala; Guyana; Honduras; Mexico; Panama; Paraguay; Peru; Suriname; and Venezuela. In South America it is found in the Guyanas; most of the Amazon Basin; and parts of the western Pantanal.; 1820-1860
