Chad. Ennedi rock art.The plateau of the Guirchi wadi; in the northeast of the Ennedi; is an immense sandy plain dotted with hundreds of rocks; rocky pillars; stone slabs and low formations of different shapes. Known as Niola Doa; this plain is rich in rock art; both engraved and painted. This column of stone eroded by water and wind awakens the imagination: is it the ancient column of a temple or the remains of a sculpture evoking the torso of a divinity.
