Spain; Andalusia; city of Seville; Plaza de Espa馻: Neo-Baroque style detail at Spanish Palace; The Plaza de Espa馻 was built 1914 to 1928 by architect An韇al Gonzalez in the Parque de Mar韆 Luisa (Maria Luisa Park) for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 (Spanish: Exposicion Ibero-Americana 1929). The complex is an outstanding example of Regionalist Revival Architecture and combines several historic styles; including Art Deco; Spanish Renaissance Revival; Spanish Baroque Revival; and Neo-Mudejar style. The Plaza de Espa馻; in 1929 was the showcase of the Spanish industry and technology. Today; the buildings at the square are used by the Government and for museum purposes. From 2007 to 2010; it was restored. The whole complex was used as a film location in "Lawrence of Arabia"; in "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" (2002); and in further movies.
