Spain; Extremadura; city of Zafra: tower with clock of Castle of Zafra (Spanish: Palacio de Zafra; Castillo de Zafra); built 1437 - 1441 for the Dukes of Feria (Spanish: Duques de Feria); at night; the originally Gothic style residence of the Dukes of Feria was rebuilt in 16th and 17th century and; today serves as hotel (Parador de Zafra). Zafra; in antique times was built by Romans along the Via de la Plata (Silver Road); which connected Hispalis (Seville) with Asturica Augusta (Astorga).
