LARGE GONG WITH TWO ELEPHANT TUSKS.
China or Thailand. Ca. 1900/ 1920.
Ivory; bronze; silver and lacquered wood. The gong is hanging from silver bands from the tusks; similar completion at the bottom toward the wooden base. Height 125 cm; width 110 cm; depth 40 cm. Condition A/B. Enclosed: cloth-wrapped mallet.
