Banner of one of the regiments in Groningen (no. 2 or 9); Ecru; in the center the coat of arms of Groningen; held by two golden; turned away lions; covered by royal crown. The lions stand on a white banderole; with in classic golden capitals: JURE ET TEMPORE; the motto of Groningen since 1612. The whole is placed on a trophy of cannons; swords; drums and banners. Behind it two raised laurel branches with orange apples; held together at the bottom by an orange bow.
