Model of Two Congreve Rockets with Launching Gear; Model of two fire rockets on a launcher or chair; for use on land. Made from light-colored wood. The rockets themselves consist of a pointed cylinder to which the side is attached with a long stabilizing stick. The chair consists of a ladder-shaped frame that together with two legs forms a tripod; a running ring is arranged at the front of the frame; which can be wrapped around the foremast of a sloop and guides the movement of the frame during lifting and lowering for aiming and loading; and is provided with a trap. A metal chamber with flint lock is mounted on each leg of the frame. The flint locks have tractors with holes for a tractor rope; these are very long for this model; the locks are also mirror images of one another; one left-handed; the other right-handed. The heads of the rockets are placed under two brackets in the chambers; the stabilizing rods are inserted by brackets on the legs of the frame.
