Tap jug; The pear-shaped jug; with a loose lid; has three high legs resting on rosewood bobbins; a tap and a C-shaped ear of water buffalo horn placed opposite it. The cast legs are shaped like a branch with a flower and end in a base. The body is troubled; the ribs describe an S-shaped curve that extends over the lid. A multi-profiled edge runs along the top of the body; a single profile along the bottom of the lid; the curve is interrupted there. Foam rims run over the belly between the legs; at the bottom along the top edge of the pot and around the lid knob; which has the shape of a rose branch. The cast faucet is placed against the foam edge on the front of the abdomen. This is made up of a cylindrical part with a froth-like extension; a part in which the rotating tap fits; and a faceted part that is surrounded at the end; where it bends downwards; by a leaf volume. The handle of the tap is an asymmetrical; open cartouche made of leaf leaves. The silver connecting piece on the underside of the horned ear is designed from below as a branch; fantasy ornament; Wijnand Warneke (attributed to); Amsterdam; 1781; silver (metal); oor; klossen; h 37.1 cm d 14.2 cm w 1109 gr
