Hat slip from application side with thin S-shaped leaf vines; Hat slip from natural-colored application side; Brussels bobbin lace mounted on dry ground. The symmetrical pattern consists of a succession of thin c-shaped leaf vines; which spring from small oval cartouches along the top and bottom of the strip. This results in S-shaped leaf vines that; alternately from above and below; fill the midfield. In the middle of the hat slip; two mirrored S-shaped aisles touch each other. A few small flowers have been incorporated into the leaf vines and various branches with berries. The sparingly full work is made in linen with a few cut-outs and openwork edges and clipped relief contours. Ornamental soils have been applied in the oval cartouches and in the few flower hearts. The pattern continues in the short; rounded sides. The faintly scalloped sides are finished with picots.; anonymous; Brussels; c. 1775 - c. 1799; linen (material); Brussels appliqu? l 162 cm x w 13 cm
