Auger with inscription: GERRIT TONISSEN HAVE MOLDED Ao 1568 cast in one piece. The round auger widens upwards; has a high protruding profiled edge and a flared profiled foot. On the border in Latin majuskels the inscription GERRIT TONISSEN HAS MI CAUGHT Ao 1568 without punctuation. The upper frieze has five times the motif of a round shield between a winged male and female tenant whose tails decorated with a nodus; inter alia; pass into stalked flowers. At the front the round shield has been replaced by a coat of arms with the monogram EV. At the bottom; the frieze is closed by a wound bead and cord edge. The lower frieze has a vase on the front; decorated with seven grunts on a raised foot; which ends in a bowl; and with a lid with a flower-shaped knob. Bud and bowl are held by two bearded tenants; whose lower bodies merge with tendrils; incorporating pomegranate; flower and other plant motifs. The tendrils work ends in dolphin or ram heads; the last of which are used twice to the right and once to the left.
