The repetitive pattern consists of alternately a medallion filled with a leaf palette and two c-volutes facing each other; from which a bouquet with different flowers and leaves springs. A console with a similar but smaller bouquet is placed above the medallion. The motifs are connected by a mesh ground. The full work is made in net stroke and one type of decorative ground is used; thicker contour threads run around the motifs. The scallop edge is formed by a succession of leaves under the medallion and roses with leaves under the facing c-volutes.
