The belly is cylindrical; with the upper part slightly indented and provided with two dolphin-shaped ears. The abdomen runs round to the foot and is decorated with modeled canines in cannelures. Painted on the glaze in blue; red; pink; green; yellow; purple; black and gold. On the broad cylinder of the abdomen in grisaille on one side is a representation with a building bearing the dauphin's coat of arms and the inscription 'SPES ET AMOR'. To the right of this is a putto with Minevra and a second putto; which drags the shield of Minerva away with a flower branch towards a vase on a pedestal. The other show with putti scooping coal in a (porcelain?) Oven and a putto that models a woman's statue. The narrow part of the abdomen with the weapon of the dauphin or a crowned double L in a medallion surrounded by aisles between which chinoiseries; English and objects.
