On the broad cylinder of the abdomen in grisaille on one side is a representation with a building bearing the dauphin's coat of arms and the inscription 'SPES ET AMOR'. To the right of this is a putto with Minevra and a second putto; which drags the shield of Minerva away with a flower branch towards a vase on a pedestal.
