Melchior looks down (towards the child); in the left hand he carries a jar with a lid decorated with grunts. Balthasar; in front of a brick wall; looks around and holds the left arm diagonally. Caspar turned the left arm to the right and the other to the top; apparently to keep the camel behind him by the reins. Melchior wears a mantle that is turned to the right in front of the chest and which hangs over the left forearm with a slip; on his head a crown; around which a curvature; the youthful-looking Balthasar a yak with a row of buttons closed at the front with a turned collar and a helmet-shaped; leathery-looking headpiece around the head. Caspar with a 'metal' band around the neck has an open yoke with peckdill marks on the shoulders; the lower sleeves are turned over and fastened with a loop to a button on the upper sleeve.
