Admiral Mountbatten Uses The Modern Method - Admiral the Earl Mountbatten, C-In-C. Mediterranean Fleet, being hauled up into a helicopter when he left the cruiser H.M.S. "Glasgow" recently for a journey ashore. Transfer from ship to ship or ship to shore by mean of helicopters is rapidly becoming the routine in the Royal Navy.
