Where U.N. General Assembly Will Meet -- The United Nations General Assembly will convene Oct. 14 in this hall in the newest building in the U.N. headquarters on Manhattan＞s East River shore. The auditorium, which is nearly completed has 636 seats for delegates and will accommodate 800 visitors and 234 members of the press in galleries.
