U.S. Concern For Quemoy Island -- Quemoy Island off the coast of communist China and held by the nationalist forces as an advance base and listening post, is causing concern to the U.S. command which has dispatched American officers to advise nationalist commanders in that area. The Island which lies in the ***** running up to the port of Amoy loomed into prominence this week following a commando raid by mainland-based red units and heavy shelling from coastal batteries.
