Rhee Delivers Inaugurai Address -- President Syngman Rhee, 77, first chief executive of Korea to be elected by popular vote, delivers his inaugural address in ceremonies (Aug.15) in front of the gutted capitol building in Seoul. In his speech Rhee made a vow to conquer the enemy and unite Korea. Heading the list of guests were Gen. Mark Clark (center), Mrs. Clark (left) and Mrs. Rhee, under umbrella.
