Report on an empty apartment building.Leipzig; abandoned apartment in an apartment building on Crottendorfer Strasse that has been vacant for years. The apartment seems to have been empty since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the fall of the Wall in the GDR. The tenant was sentenced to prison for attempting to flee the Republic; after his release from prison he was "released from the citizenship of the GDR" and had to leave the GDR within a few hours in September 1989.
