The Galleria Spada (Spada Gallery; galerie Spada) is a museum which is housed in the Palazzo Spada (Spada Palace; Palais Spada). The gallery exhibits paintings from the 16th and 17th century. The palace was built in 1540 for the cardinal Girolamo Capodiferro (1501-1559). Architect: Bartolomeo Baronino.The palazzo was purchased by Cardinal Spada in 1632. He commissioned the Baroque architect Francesco Borromini to modify it.Rome; Italy (2020)
