Description: a) Mother-of-pearl; carved in openwork and gilt. Paper; colored lithograph and very finely
painted; with gold. About 1860/70 for the Spanish market. L.26.5cm; w.50cm. Cardboard box.
b) Ebony; carved in openwork. Blue silk; painted. Ca. 1890. L.29.5cm; w.54cm. c) Trick fan
(evantail 釥 dislocation). Boxwood; silk ribbons. 1879. L.34.5cm; w.64.5cm.

Provenance:
-Collection of "The Great Nesbitt" (Sinclair Neil Nesbitt; 1886-1936). Chinese style magician who performed throughout Europe from 1919-1928. Probably acquired from the estate of the magician "Chung Ling Soo" (William E. Robinson; 1861-1918).
-1936 inherited to his son Cecil Ronald Nesbitt (1914-1996); who lived in Spain since 1986.
-1996 inherited to a befriended family.
