Ebonised wood frame with tooled leather insert painted in colours. In a spacious; wooded park landscape in the foreground the shore of a lake. At this shore ducks; pheasants; rabbits and peacocks bustle. 198.5x222cm. Condition B.

Provenance:
German aristocratic property.

The painting is attributed to Henri Emile Brunner-Lacoste (1838-1881).
He exhibited in the Paris Salon from 1859 and decorated the London town house of the Duke
of Hamilton.Art trade; Van Ham.
