City of Suzhou; Lingering Garden: Lake Tai piece (limestone; 6 ?m high rock with grotesque shape) in front of the Mandarin Duck Hall (Yuanyang Hall); Lingering Garden is a classical Chinese garden; dating into the Ming Dynasty (1593 AD); and as further Suzhou gardens; a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Suzhou is a big city in Jiangsu Province; East China; 100 km northwest of Shanghai; Suzhou is on the Lake Tai Plain south of the Yangtze River. Founded in 514 BC; Suzhou has many sites of historical interest.
