Light-colored stoneware with yellowish; transparent; shiny glaze. Multilayered crackling in different colors. Inside bluish-white drops from rice straw ash. Wide shape with vertically stepped walls. Lip compressed a bit to a square form. On wide
base ring; partly irregular. At the lip gold lacquer repairs. Smaller damages and cracks. H.8.6cm; ?13.8cm. Condition B/C. Supplement: Not matching: Wooden box (kiribako). Inscription: "481 Ancient Japan Raku Chawan (Chojiro)"; ??; Japan 13". Silk cushions and purple fukusa.
