The lion fountain was built as well between 1905 and 1910 and is a replica of the lion fountain in the courthyard of the lions in Alhambra (there 12 lions; here 8 lions). legend wants; that the unknown sculptor; angry with the architect or the German Emperor; designed one mouth of a lion with outstretched tongue. But finally; he was not punished; at all.
