Gro?D鰈ln: ruined residential building in the entrance area to the military airport; The airport was built 1952 - 1954 and used by the Soviet Army 1955 - 1994. It was the biggest of all 47 Soviet military airports in GDR. Here; MIG fighter planes of different types were in use (MIG-17 to MIG-25); as well strategic bombers TU-16; TU-22 and TU-22M and helicopters. It is said; that there were also atomic missiles. The aircrafts were protected in concrete shelters (bunkers; underground hangars). The airport closed; in 2012.
