Directly below is the torii, the gateway entrance to the shrine, and two prominent figures along the pathway. One figure is shown carrying a big yellow hat while the other is smoking a pipe. The path continues behind these detailed figures between the marshes and leads out beyond the bay. Further along the trail, three more distinct characters stand, surrounded by tall pines, and a lone fisherman is spotted rowing his boat through the reeds.
