Confluent and reticulated papillomatosis on the chest of a 16 year old African American female patient. This rare condition consists of many small hyperpigmented papules that coalesce to form larger plaques with a net-like (reticulated) pattern. The cause is not known, although antibiotics are successful at treating the condition, so it may be due to a bacterial infection.
