Ali ibn Hammud al-Nasir (d. 1018). Sixth caliph of the Caliphate of Cordoba (1016-1018). He was appointed governor of Ceuta by Caliph Sulayman al-Mustain. Ali ibn Hammud conspired against the Caliph Sulayman al-Mustain and, after gaining entry into Cordoba, was proclaimed Caliph on 1 July 1016.
